“Being a volunteer at the Women and Home Foundation is an excellent and valuable opportunity to understand a little more about the Wayuu culture, but not only that, is as well a great opportunity to pay back in somehow the teachings of this community through a volunteer service”, expressed Daniela De Fex Wolf, who made us company during the month of July 2019 as a volunteer from Fex Wolf. Currently, Daniela is making a PhD at Cardiff University in the United Kingdom, whose project is about food sovereignty through an indigenous perspective, where she seeks to describe how the food system works in Wayuu communities and the particularities of this group.
